On the 22nd day of May 2016, Alive Inc was afforded the opportunity to participate in the celebration of one of our very own. Lauren Gilbert graduated from Marquette University, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Education. The long nights and hard test all paid off for Lauren on this special day. During her senior year, Lauren was fortunate to work alongside MPS at Pulaski and Washington High Schools. This favorable circumstance gave Lauren the ability to work and make relationships with many educators in the city of Milwaukee.

 

Lauren has declared that she will be returning to Marquette University to obtain her Master’s Degree in the Student Affairs in Higher Education program. She was awarded this opportunity through the Diversity Fellowship, in which she has received a full-tuition scholarship.
